Cumberland Holdings Supports Phillipine Development Foundation (PhilDev)
On Saturday August 29, 2015 Cumberland Holdings, LLC served as a sponsor for Philippine Development Foundation (PhilDev) in its inaugural golf tournament, wine tour and dinner dance. This event was held at the beautiful Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa, CA. Over 114 golfers gathered for a fun day of golf amidst a gorgeous backdrop of rolling vineyards. Several prizes were given including closest to the pin won by Josie Chernoff, Cumberland’s COO with her daughter Nicole winning second place. They were both 3 feet away from winning a Toyota Camry for the hole in one! The golf tournament coincided with a wine tour for non-golfers around several famed wineries including Silver Oak Vineyards. The day was capped with a dinner dance, awards ceremony and auction, which raised over $75,000 for the foundation.
